Sharing - Oral Language
On Monday and Friday we have sharing time. During this time children are learning to talk in a correct sentence and to share information about an object or what they have done in the weekend with their families. Children are also encouraged to ask questions of other peoples news.
If your child would find it easier to share if they brought an object from home I encourage them to do so.

Beach Trip
Today the Year 1 children went to Long Bay Beach. We had fun playing in the sand, making sand castles and flying down the flying fox.
Thank you to all parents who came with us and to Miss Everett for coming too!
We have all gotten to know each other a little better and learnt the names of some of the other year one teachers and the children in their class.
