Children find it easier to talk about an item they have brought to school, as it gives them something to focus on. Please allow your child to bring something to school on Monday and Friday to "share" for news.

Room 4 Information

In Room 4 we come to school prepared for the day, with our book bag, drink bottle and lunch box ( full of yummy and healthy food).

Terms 1 and 4 are summer terms and your child needs a hat to play outside in the playground.

On Monday and Friday we have sharing/news, children may bring something from home to talk about. This encourages using correct oral language and interaction between home and school environments.

On Thursday afternoon we go to the library so please send your child's library book back to school on a Thursday morning in their book bag.

Homework is set on a Monday and Wednesday, please complete the letter written at the front the their Alphabet Book. ( There is a guide of how to create the letter shapes correctly in the front of the book.)

The Talking Card last for a week. It is used to practice talking in sentences and to ask and answer questions. This is an important part of starting to understand written language and will assist with their reading and writing skills.

The School Newsletter comes home on a Wednesday, please cut out the return slip and return to school on a Thursday morning.

Sushi/Slushi/Sausage days - ( times advised in the School Newlsetter) Please let me know if your children is ordering lunch after you have placed the order at the hall before school. I keep the sausage tokens for safe keeping.
