We are learning to sound out words using our jolly phonics knowledge.
We are learning to match the letter sound with the letter.
We are learning how to write each letter and the "casey" shapes it uses.
We count the words in our story and talk about the surface features, like the full stop, capital letter at the beginning of the story and why there are finger spaces between the words.
